Time Market Porto is now open!

Time Out Market Porto, the latest edition of the world’s first gastronomic and cultural market with editorial curation, bringing together the best of the city under one roof, opens to the public on 3 May at 12.30pm, in the south wing of São Bento train station. Occupying an area of around 2,000 square metres, Time Out Market Porto includes 16 spaces: 12 restaurants, two bars, a tower with two units, and an outdoor space. The project to revitalise the area was drafted by top Porto architect Eduardo Souto de Moura, winner of the 2011 Pritzker Prize. The city’s best culinary talent has now together under one roof: chefs Ricardo Costa, Rui Paula, Vasco Coelho Santos and Rafaela Louzada, as well as the vegetarian restaurant Fava Tonka (overseen by chef Nuno Castro), Casa Inês, run by Inês Diniz (formerly of Casa Aleixo), Meia-Nau, Okra Pizzaria, Tábua Rasa, Brusco Burger and Padaria Ribeiro. In the tower, the shop A Vida Portuguesa and the Sala de Prova, a tasting room for fine wine complete the offer.   Find out more here. The new Time Out Market will be open every day of the week, from 10am to midnight.
