Pans, sharp knives, fans, brooms, vintage Viarco pencils, Ach. Brito soaps and Bordalo Pinheiro swallows are among the archetypally Portuguese products that Catarina Portas has rescued from oblivion and put on sale in her shops. Their history stretches back generations and have great stories about Portuguese culture associated with them. That makes them great presents for foreign visitors to take away, but also for locals to be reminded of the good things that were and are produced in this country.\r\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\"><em>Time Out says\r\n&#8220;For those who pay close attention to decorative detail, we can confirm what you probably suspect: the furniture here was bought from old retail establishments.
